Why Tablet?

OK, so while I am waiting and hoping (you know, the tablet), Here’s a great list of reasons for me (and should be for anybody) that helped me make the decision of the tablet pc. I found it on studenttabletpc.com, which is a great site from where I have lots of valuable information. The list is for students, (as is my blog) which is why I wanted to pass this on to you. Bear with me, soon I will deliver tests and reviews from my own spare time and efort, just as promised/threatened in my preview list. Anyways: here’s the list of reasons (34)

1. Your notes are always with you

2. You have a copy of your homework even after you turn it in

3. Your notes are searchable

4. Sharing notes online is easy

5. Notes take up a lot less space

6. You can do a lab/written report anytime you want

7. You can copy graphs and formulas into homework and notes

8. Use multiple colors with only one pen to carry around

9. Every thing you need for class is in one bundle (easy grab and go)

10. Harder to lose papers (though still possible…back-up, back-up, back-up)

11. Everything you need all day is 2-6lbs total

12. Have all your MP3’s there for downtime/homework

13. Scribble all over your books without feeling bad

14. Your books don’t get messed up in your backpack

15. A clock is easy to see all day

16. Look-up the weather at anytime

17. Surf the web during boring classes without others noticing

18. Or play a game with out others noticing (including the teacher)

19. No annoying key clicks in quiet classes while taking notes

20. Have your audio files sync with your notes

21. Insert as much paper as you want into your notes

22. Organize all your stuff between classes (instead of putting it off)

23. Have organized notes even if your professor is crazy

24. Do your homework and e-mail it to your teacher

25. Add money to your student cash card while standing in line

26. No annoying screen blockading you off from the world

27. Get tons of interesting friends where ever you go

28. You can instant message ink with MSN messenger to wow your friends

29. Do a crossword during class (and get help when you get stuck)

30. Save hundreds of trees (each semester)

31. Take notes on FULL SIZE PowerPoint slides (no more 1″x1″ printouts…)

32. Be more likely to study, as that means playing on the tablet in the process

33. Take full advantage of wireless-everywhere schools

34. Sit anywhere, in any position, with the most comfort (my personal favorite)

It’s basically for college students, but I’m sure they will be same with me (and others that is =) in highschool
cheers
